I appreciate everyone that tuned in to the debut episode of The Vincent Tucker Show this past Tuesday. As I stated throughout the show, we’re simply trying to bring that “Radio Morning Show Appeal to the Internet.” By the comments and feedback I’ve received either in person or via email, it seems everyone was pretty pleased with the show. We’ll be back on the air for a special after Christmas Show on Wednesday, December 26th. I truly believe that I have Four of the best co-hosts in the world….MysKenna, Savel Rhines, Yellostar & J.B. The sky is the limit from here guys!!!!! Thanks Jam Renaissance again for giving me the opportunity to try radio…and to think I almost turned this gig down!!!!!
Speaking of the show, is the rumors true that the show is going to be picked up by another Internet Radio station in addition to 360DRadio.com? (Hmmm…. Stay tuned)
Recently the hip-hop world suffered the death of another legend, Chad Butler aka Pimp-C of U.G.K. As we await the toxicology reports, I just want to send my condolences to the Butler Family as well as his rhyming partner Bun-B. I feel for the hardcore, dedicated fans who followed Pimp-C/UGK. Though I predominately grew up in Texas, I unfortunately wasn’t fully exposed to UGK they were featured on the 2000 hit single from Jay-Z, “Big Pimpin.” I grew up a commercial music fan (Commercial Radio, MTV, BET), therefore my exposure to UGK was limited until then. So while I can’t fully say that I’m affected like the hardcore fans, I can say I still feel for the fans and the family. Can you imagine the amount of velocity, pain and emotion that Bun-B brings to his next solo album? Sometimes artists make even better music when they go through a dark period in their life. R.I.P. Pimp-C.
Now that T.I. is in trouble, on house arrest and possibility facing time……will someone else stand up and claim to be the King of the South?
I apologize to the football fans that follow my blog. It appears I was incorrect in the amount of wins the Dallas Cowboys would get this year. I initially stated they would go 11-5 and at least win the NFC East title. My Cowboys are currently 12-1 with the NFC East title coming under wrap last weekend. I still expect an apology for those who told me I was crazy when I only predicted 5 losses this year!!!!! Now if we could only get Keyshawn Johnson to shut up……
Now sure how many Baseball Fans it is still out there but was anyone really surprised by Former Senator Mitchell’s report? The use of steroids in Baseball was the worse kept secret in Sports. The Owner, Management Staff, Coaches, Players, Media and the fans knew steroids was a huge problem for the sport known as “America’s Past Time.” Go ahead and Let Pete Rose back now. All he did was gamble…..he didn’t use anything to boost his on-field production. But some of the guys on that list WHO WILL BE VOTED TO THE HALL OF FAME did and that’s not fair to Pete.
I know I’m only 24, but does anyone remember when DJs used to actually spin records?
I commend suspended Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Michael Vick for turning himself in early back in November. 23 months…. Ouch!!!! I think his legal team was very smart in convincing the embattled quarterback Michael to start serving jail time before his sentencing next month. It will do him some justice when the sentencing begins. Look at it like a timed served. I still think the biggest punishment regardless of what the Judge gives himself, was the suspension from the NFL that he was given. The possibility that Vick won’t be able to ever play the game he loved growing up, will hurt more than any jail time.
In closing, Everyone that has supported the movement, as always I appreciate it. Continue to send the questions and comments to me. Everybody be safe out there. I’ll see you in two weeks!

Stage Presence & possibly working with Gifted Tha Go-Gitta again.
Wow after a 4 week delay, It’s Vincent Tucker here again. I hope is well. Everybody’s favorite executive from CWC Entertainment Group has stayed busy as always.
I’m having fun hosting “The Union”, a weekly independent artist showcase held Sundays at Tomcats - Deep Ellum in Dallas. I’ve seen some acts with a lot of potential; needless to say I also saw some performers that need to “step up their game”. I think a lot of times, people in my generation, have forgotten the importance of Stage Presence. Its amazing that artists are forgetting the importance of crowd interaction or participation. You wonder why you don’t receive the attention you believe you deserve, well did you actually give the crowd a show? You wonder why you set up a stand at the club, yet you failed to sell any cds....... Did you try to have any interaction with the crowd?
One of the things I hate the most on a weekly basis, is seeing an independent act who has more than three (3) people on stage with him and none of the other people have lines in the song nor are decent hype men because they don’t really know the words. They just want to be seen. Don’t you think it would be better to have those extra people actually stay in the crowd and make it appear that you have a sizable following? Understand Ladies buy CDs and they aren’t going to buy CDs from people that scared them.
Changing Subjects... “Mars vs. Venus – The Battle of the Sexes” show coming up on November 25th. Stay tuned for details.
How come when you’re respectful in certain situations……you lose?
After initally beginning in June with Club Hush, the "Just So Fly Wednesdays" ended with a bang last Wednesday. The Halloween Party was packed. It was great to end that era with like that!!!!! We'll take a break, but we'll be back. Stay tune to find out where the party goes to next.
Are the rumors about me hitting radio soon true?
It's nice to see that blog I had about the next 10 artists from DFW has set a fire under artists not mentioned.
As with every blog, I give my email address allowing people the opportunity to leave feedback and ask questions.
Stacey from Jacksonville, Florida writes: I recently read through the archived news on the website and discovered that CWC Entertainment Group was involved with a rapper named Gifted Tha Go-Gitta. I was wondering if you could be a little clearer on the departure, whether you knew what he was doing now and if you’re interested in working with him again?
I honestly didn’t see this one coming! For those new to the movement, I managed Rapper/Actor Rickey Carter aka Gifted Tha Go-Gitta from November ‘05 – March ‘06. To answer your first question......No, I can’t go into details and I’m not sure if/when I can ever fully get into that. All I can say is Mr. Carter, Chris Panayiotou (Co-Owner of CWC Entertainment Group, LLC.) and I had a meeting and decided for at least the interim, we achieve our goals in our own separate ways. I’ve had conversations and seen Gifted plenty of times since parting. I even booked him for a charity event late Summer ’06. In one of my last conversations with him, it appears he’s getting ready to take his company to the next level and set to finally drop his debut LP next year. Whether I’m interested in working with Mr. Carter again....... As I’ve said plenty times before, we are in a business, an industry where you can “never say never”. People who are professional and consistently handle their business properly will eventually iron out any differences and potentially seek an environment where both parties can cohesively co-exist.
Last but not least......in an earlier blog entry, I stated my Dallas Cowboys were going 11-5 and winning the NFC East Division Title. I received plenty of emails stating that I don't know anything about the NFL and that the Philadelphia Eagles were the team to beat for the NFC East Title. Now that the road to the division title no longer goes through Philadelphia (we beat them 38-17 Sunday Night), does my prediction look crazy now?
In closing, I’ll answer some more questions next entry. Everyone that has supported the movement, as always I appreciate it. Continue to send the questions and comments to me. Everybody be safe out there. I’ll see you in two weeks!

Top 10 Artists from DFW part 2, O.J. Simpson and more!!!!
Back like I never left, ladies and gentleman, as always I’m glad to be here. I once again appreciate everyone for riding along and following the CWC Entertainment Group movement.
I first want to address the somewhat “controversial” blog entry that I submitted two weeks ago. I had no idea that my endorsement or should I say lack of endorsement would cause some pandemonium. I’m referring to me naming the next 10 Hip-Hop / Rap artists from the area that I thought would have a legitimate chance of succeeding in today’s National Music Scene. I received a record number of emails and phone calls. The MySpace page that belongs to yours truly was flooded with email messages. All I did was answer a question that someone sent me and it caused commotion for some reason. For those that felt left out and failed to read the whole entry, I stated that not only were the names mentioned not in any particular order but they also were the first 10 names that came to mind. I’ll be the first to admit that there were some artists that I left out. But in all fairness, there are some artists that are complaining that shouldn’t be mentioned. But I guess it simply means that my words are more powerful than I thought. Maybe, just Maybe….......people do care about the opinion of Vincent Tucker. Hmm.....who would of thought?
Anyway, on to other things, since I last left you, everybody’s favorite former NFL Running back from South California that you love to hate, once again is in trouble. Yes, O.J. Simpson is now in trouble as he “allegedly” committed armed robbery in connection with 2 other people as they tried to seek items O.J. stated belongs to him. Sure I could take the liberty of taking “shots” at the former NFL Star but I’ll show some restraint. Similar to my pleading concerning Vick in one of my earlier blog entries, everyone needs to remember that until proven other-wise, O.J. Simpson is still technically innocent. So lets all not be so quick to place judgment. Let O.J. go thru the legal system and if proven guilty, then as the public fire away, but until then.....give the man a break. I’ll be the first to admit that O.J. hasn’t made it easy to be viewed as “innocent” in the public eye. I don’t know an individual that believes O.J. Simpson didn’t kill Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman in the early 90’s even though he was found innocent in the criminal trial. But I’ll say this before changing subjects, I do believe “they” (and I’ll leave it up to you to figure out who is “they”), but “they” will probably try to make an example out of him if “they” have a chance. It’ll be interesting to see the end result of the trial.
Speaking of the NFL, let me first reiterate that in an earlier blog entry I did state that my Dallas Cowboys would finish 11-5 and at least win the NFC East Division title. Some of you called me crazy but after the 35-7 romp of the St. Louis to further post an undefeated record of 4-0.....how crazy am I?
Everybody’s favorite executive, (Me, of course…who else did you think I was referring to?) has been staying busy as always. Business for our newest auxiliary company “The Young Heartbreak Agency” is picking up. From Email blasts, media kits and more, the word about The Young Heartbreak Agency is spreading. I have an interview with a nationally distributed publication coming up (Stay Tuned for that). I’m booking The Harlem Starz Basketball Team for some spots in Virginia, Georgia and Florida. The Harlem Starz will be in those states in Mid November to Mid December. Be looking for us in a city near you! (If you need a refresher on who The Harlem Starz are, please click on The Young Heartbreak Agency Tab on the left side of the website) We still are doing “Just So Fly Wednesdays” with Mr. Kuwn-Dalini at Club Hush. So as you can see....business is still raising.
As with every blog, I give my email address allowing people the opportunity to leave feedback and ask questions.
Jason from Roswell, New Mexico asks: “As an executive who didn’t profit from the Kanye West vs. 50 Cent battle, did you think it was a good thing for music?”
As I begin, let me state that I was thoroughly amused with the results of the Kanye West vs. 50 Cent Billboard Battle. It was actually a great thing for not only Urban / Hip-Hop Music but for Music in general. I think we’ll start to see battles of this magnitude in many different music genres over the next year or two. I think the funniest thing I heard following the release of the 1st Week Billboards results for the battle was someone I know who stated that “people who normally bootleg records were actually at their favorite record store buying either one or both of the albums”. That Ladies and Gentlemen, is a wonderful thing. In an era where record sales are down while downloading and bootlegging is up, any thing that can spark a fire and convince consumers to visit their local music store is beautiful. That's why a lot of us are in the business....to sell records!
In closing, I’ll answer some more questions next blog. Everyone that has supported the movement, as always I appreciate it. Continue to send the questions and comments to me. Everybody be safe out there. I’ll see you in two weeks!

Vincent talks about the next 10 Artists from DFW to blow and more!!!!!
Back for the 6th time, Ladies and Gentleman I’m glad to be here. I hope all has been well. Not to beat a dead horse, but its interesting how after 6 weeks, the dissolution of Metro Muzik: The Union is still being discussed. Those following the movement are aware of Mr. Kuwn-Dalini’s interview and my response on 360 D Radio last Friday. Those that missed it and care to listen, you can head to the 360 D Radio website (www.360DRadio.com) and look for the September 14th edition on the show. For everyone else, I honestly hope that we can move from this. As I’ve stated, that was a great 18 month ride with its ups and downs, mainly ups....but it’s time for everybody to let it go. That chapter for interim is done.
But with the mention of Mr. Kuwn-Dalini, I’ll admit it will feel good to return to the Tomcat’s stage on Sunday and co-host “The Re-Union” with Kuwn. It’s the first time we’ve co-hosted since he re-launched “The Union” showcase series on September 9th. Kuwn always said there wasn’t a microphone that I didn’t want to talk into......
As with every blog, I give my email address allowing people the opportunity to leave feedback and ask questions.
Scott from Tulsa, Oklahoma asks: Do you think the Majors (i.e. Atlantic, Def Jam, Columbia, Virgin) are interested in Artists from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (DFW)?
In my opinion...yes. They all have offices here. Everyone doesn’t know that but they do. They have keept their ears to the streets. They have street teams. Since 2006, Dallas has garnered some attention from the Majors.
• January 2006 - Mr. Pookie released “The Return of the Rippla” via Universal's Fontana Distribution (thru Boss Entertainment).
• December 2006 - Big Tuck released “The Absolute Truth” via T-Town / Universal Republic Records.
• January 2007 - P.P.T. released “Tres Monos in Love” via Koch Records (thru Idol Records and Navarre Distribution)
• April 2007 – “The Bioniq MC” Steve Austin released “The 800lb. Gorilla via Universal Music Enterpries
• June 2007 – Tum Tum released “Eat or Ate Alive” via T-Town / Universal Republic Records
Excluding P.P.T., Mr. Pookie, Big Tuck, Steve Austin and Tum Tum’s major label LPs under-performed at retail due to various reasons including lack of promotions and lack of support from the hometown. Because I don’t have the terms of everybody’s contract, I’m not sure of who is responsible for what as far as the marketing & promotions of each album listed above. P.P.T. on the other hand is on the rise and Tres Monos in Love has become a more popular LP amongst the locals. Clout Records recently signed a distribution deal with EMI. As I mentioned......Yes the majors have/are interested in talent from DFW. This is the number 4, 5 media market in the country so it’s only a matter of time before we have someone that takes the nation be storm from this area.
Jessica from Dallas, Texas asks: Can you can name 10 Hip-Hop / Rap artists from our city that everyone should be watching for that doesn’t have / had any type of major deal?
“In no particular order, I believe everyone should be watching for : Colby Savage, Money Waters, Ricochet, SuavĂ© and Elite Star Productions, Knesecary, King Ashoka, Que-P from Philly Station, Dawg Wonder from D.D.C., Gifted Tha Go-Gitta and B-Eazy. This list was in no particular order and I simply named the first 10 names that came to me.”
Oh, I forgot about G.O.A.T. That's why this is a difficult question. There are so many artists I think have the immediate talent and/or need the least molding. Thinking of G.O.A.T., shouts out to him and dj three6t as they celebrate the "Dallas Got Next" Mixtape at their Mixtape Release Party in Dallas on Saturday. G.O.A.T. has been grinding for a while and nice to see he's beginning to get his just due!
In closing, I’ll answer some more questions next week. Everyone that has supported the movement, as always I appreciate it. Continue to send the questions and comments to me. Everybody be safe out there. I’ll see you in two weeks!

Vincent Talks UnSigned The Magazine, P.P.T., KoMika and More!
What’s Going On Everybody? It’s Vincent here for the 5th installment of “Vincent’s Corner.” It’s been two weeks but I’ve kept y’all in mind. I’ve received plenty of emails and comments since my last blog entry. I know I’m supposed to answer one question per blog but due to space I’ll probably have to answer one in my next blog.
So since we last spoke, Mike Vick pleads guilty to some of the charges involved with the Dog Fighting Indictments against him and his cohorts. Vick just mortgaged his future for the “fast money.” With all of his endorsements and the $130 million contract he signed 3 years ago, Vick didn’t even need the fast money. Sure he’s going to prison, but what the judge needs to remember is that Vick not being able to play football on Sundays will hurt him more than any prison time he does. This is the time when an athlete uses the sport they play to take his/her mind off of the world’s pressures. He’ll miss all of this season, next season because of prison and then the NFL will suspend Vick for another season. When he comes out, he’ll be 31 and 3 pro seasons out of football. But in his defense, I believe he’s learned from this. One question though....... When did people killing animals become bigger than people killing people? If we had this much energy and focus on gun control, the nation would be in a better place.
Okay, so let me get off of my soap box for a moment. I wanted to mention that the best event I attended during the last two weeks, was the Unsigned The Magazine Print Launch Party. After being an online magazine for so long, Robbie Wilcox (Publisher) and Mut Asheru (EIC) have brought the magazine to print. On the first cover of the magazine, P.P.T. (Pikahsso, Picnic and Tahiti) is on the cover. I’m a HUGE FAN of P.P.T. Upon first hearing music from the trio over a year ago, I thought the group was a little bit too eccentric but I’ve learned P.P.T. is bringing back the fun to Hip-Hop music. They make good music. P.P.T. is signed to Koch Records through Idol Records and Navarre Distribution. So congrats to Robbie and Mut for going to print and P.P.T. for getting the initial cover.
On the subject of the Launch party, shouts out to Jay Fouts (Blackwerks Ent), Rage Almighty, DJ P-Nut, Jam Renaissance, Bruh-N-Law, Zach and Chris Collier, P.P.T. (Tahiti, I didn’t know you knew who I was!), HeadKrack (97.9 The Beat), Original Soul, T-Wrex (Slept on), DJ Spinn, DJ Fish and Mut (I told you I’m going for the cover!). Jay, I learned a lot from you in our long conversation, we’ll make something happen!
It was announced yesterday that I’m the DFW Booking Agent for the Harlem Starz, a novelty basketball team based out of El Paso, Texas. Similar to the Harlem Globetrotters, the Starz are a basketball team full of former Collegiate, And 1, Overseas and Globetrotters who travel from high school to high school playing the best students at the school. They also bring a drug free atmosphere and positive message wherever they go. I’m gracious that the owner Mike Gonzales reached out to me for the venture. They should be coming to North Texas in November so look out for them!
Be sure to check out the newest single from “R&B’s Biggest Secret” KoMika. The song is titled “Don’t Stop” and produced by the Evil Genius DJ Green Latern. We just sent the record out to over 200 DJs and Record pools across the country and have received positive feedback. To listen to “Don’t Stop”, click on her picture in the left hand side of the website and/or visit her online at www.KoMikasWorld.com. I’m glad that Industry Veteran Dan The Man is allowing us to work with her to help take KoMika to the next level.
Before I Go, let me say that my prayers are going out to Tonisha Johnson as her Dad is in the hospital right now suffering from an undisclosed problem i'm not at liberty to release. Tonisha gave me my first interview in August last year and made me apart of the advisory board for up-start T.O.M.I. Magazine this past February. Tonisha, Everything will be okay!

Volunteering, 360 D Radio, Teen Summit and More!
After a two-week delay.....I’m back. With everything that has rolled out and is rolling out in the near future, it’s sometimes hard to be able take time out and blog. But without further ado....I’m back.
I want to first say thanks to all of the people who express their enjoyment of me working with the Texas Teen Summit. Since I was a teenager, I’ve always wanted to be a role model and/or an example to other teens. I think the Texas Teen Summit will allow me that opportunity. I’m definitely excited about it and can’t wait to get started!!!!!
By time you read this, it has been announced that CWC Entertainment Group, LLC. is sponsoring the 2007 Texas Teen Talent Explosion in Houston on October 20th. I’ll be helping with the audition process as far as relaying information and letting people know where to go for the auditions. For Dallas, it will be at Singing Hills Recreation Center on September 1st and we’re have another audition process for teens out in Fort Worth on September 8th but the place for the auditions is still undetermined.
This week, it was also publicized that 360 D Radio is becoming our Online Radio Partner for The 1st Annual High School Hip-Hop Showcase™. I’m very exciting that we were able to come to terms. 360 D Radio and its website 360DRadio.com is dedicated to bringing exposure to independent Hip-Hop and R&B artists in North Texas. The 60 minute commercial free show is also played on Pegasusnews.com, OKRP.com in Oklahoma and HipHopSoulRadio.com in Dallas. So with our partnership, we’ll be able to hit different markets. You can start hearing commercials about the showcase starting next summer!!!!
Also, when it comes to teens, I believe I’m in the midst of something big involving basketball and high schools. Of course, like any good executive, I can’t fully discuss what is not official. If more comes out of the situation, I think its going to be great for North Texas Teens.
I’ve had two back-to-back Saturdays of Volunteering. I assisted Buckner Children’s Home in sorting school supplies for kids and served food to the homeless last Saturday at Salvation Army Carr P Collins Social Center (August 11). I than volunteered at the Back School Drive that Buckner Children’s Home and Cliff Temple Baptist Church had in Oak Cliff, Texas this past Saturday (August 18). It was great seeing the smiles on those kids’ faces as they picked up their school supplies and received brand new tennis shoes to wear at the beginning of the year. The kids that attended also received free check-ups as the parents were whisked away for mini-seminar explaining how they can receive additional financial support (i.e. Food stamps). While I'm not trying to bring on my community service effort but I'm trying to show that young people especially people in the music industry, DO CARE ABOUT THE WORLD AROUND THEM.
At the end of every blog, I'm going to answer one of the questions that I've been emailed since I started this blog over a month ago. I received an question in an email from someone asking: Because the music & entertainment industry seems to be a 24 hour job, do you get tired?
The answer to that question is Yes and No. Without trying to get all hypothetical, I’ll state that the music and entertainment industry has “its moments” but at the same time “I’ve just begun and have a lot more to do before I can call myself tired.” Sometimes I feel like I’m carrying the world on my shoulders.
There are times I think did I choose this life or did it choose me? I mean I’m never at home; I don’t really have a lot of time for a social life. Everything with me is business, business, and business. I just want to take a break but I know I can’t. I have far to go but I’ve come too far.
But the thing is, every time I’ve questioned why I keep going on the pace I’m going, I think of my team especially Chris and Ke’shun, I think of my family, I think about all of the people I care about, I think about all of the people who didn’t get to achieve their dreams. It’s after those moments, that I realize this is the life for me and I will be successful.
As always, it’s been great being able to reveal my weekly thoughts and industry experiences through these blogs. I’m thankful of all of the emails I’ve received regarding my blog and look forward to future comments and questions.

Dealing with Superstardom, Industry People & Mr. Kuwn-Dalini
Once again, it’s Vincent here. What an eventful time the last week or so has been. Followers of the movement by now have read about and/or heard my interview with 360 D Radio concerning the dissolution of Metro Muzik: The Union. For those just now following along, Metro Muzik: The Union was an Urban Music collective of Promoters and Music Executives blazing the trail in North Texas. Together for 18 months, we put together dozens of concerts, showcases and parties.
As you may have heard in my interview on 360 D Radio, I was very surprised about the amount of phones calls and emails that I received from people regarding the dissolution. Just when you thought it wasn’t possible, it may be safer to assume that as promoters and executives, we had somewhat of a fan base. It’s kind of surreal when I really think about it. Never one to shy away from attention, I “embrace it in so many ways”. I was told that "I never met a microphone I didn’t like. (I’m still trying to find out if that last quote was a good one or a bad one?)
Anyway, as I’ve stated since the dissolution, think of it as everyone is graduating from high school and getting ready to go off to different colleges. There’s no bad blood here. I’m appreciative of the brotherhood I shared with the 5 other members and I thank Mr. Kuwn-Dalini for taking me and Chris in and teaching us the promotions side of the business. I looked up to him in so many ways as well as Ced [Jemmerson] and LaJohn [Manoy], and I hope to see everyone at the top soon!
I went to a Universal Records Listening Party this past Saturday in Dallas. I just want to say that Ali & Murphy Lee of the St. Lunatics are two of the most humble dudes that you can meet. I received an advance copy of the latest UGK cd late last week and it’s a pretty good cd. You should go buy it as it came out today!
I’m sitting here watching “The Insider” on television right now which I consider a “music & entertainment gossip show”. While they are talking about Usher’s marriage, Lindsey Lohan’s troubles and Vanessa Williams and ex-husband Rick Fox working together on set, I sit here and wonder....Is this my life in a few years? Now granted I’m not on their level and nor am I saying that I am, but I think anyone who thinks they could reach excessive amounts of notoriety, you have to kind of ask yourself that question. Am I ready to one day headline gossip columns? Who Knows??? But I’ll tell you this for any aspiring superstars out there....What you do in the dark, will come to light. So always consider the future when you make a decision for the present.
Sports Tidbits: Congrats to Barry Bonds for breaking the Homerun Record. Whether you hate him or love him….he broke the record. Enough Said. The Dallas Cowboys play their first pre-season game on Thursday against the 2006 NFL Champions the Indianapolis Colts. Sure most of the starters might only play a few drives and T.O. may not suit up, but I’m excited to see some football. Finally!!!!
As always, its been great being able to reveal my weekly thoughts and industry experiences through these blogs. I’m thankful of all of the emails I’ve received regarding my blog and look forward to future comments.
Stay tune....Big things in the works for CWC Entertainment Group, LLC.

Sports, Michael Vick and more!!!!!
What’s going on everybody, once again its Vincent Tucker here! I’m reporting for the 2nd edition of Vincent’s Corner – The Blog”. Thanks for all of the feedback on last weeks blog. All of it was positive.....to my surprise. I thought I may have said something wrong but I guess everyone pretty much agreed with everything I had to say.
If you’re new, please beware that you’re reading the weekly story of “a budding entertainment executive.” (Just like the V.Diddy comment, I didn’t make it up but I’m running with it.) This is my opportunity to let people in on my world as I try to take my company (CWC Entertainment Group, LLC.) and the promoter faction (Metro Muzik: The Union) to the next level in mainstream entertainment. Not only will I talk about things related to the music & entertainment industry but I’ll also talk about other issues & news affecting the globe including sports, movies, etc.
I want to start this week’s edition by stating a life lesson that I learned this week: If you don’t agree to disagree, then your argument is ignorant. Therefore you should not argue with idiots because nothing gets achieved.
Okay, now that I got that out of my system, I have to go to sports real quick. Let it be known that I am a huge fan of the NFL, NBA and Professional Wrestling/WWE. I watch Hockey and Baseball from time to time but not enough to consider myself a subject expert. Anyway, I want to say I am thrilled that NFL Training Camps has started back up. My favorite NFC teams are The Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers. My favorite AFC teams are The New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Titans.
I’m a huge Terrell Owens fan and I’ll defend him to the end. He’s not as bad as he’s advertised. Unfortunately, this is America and we don’t give people chances here! Right now, I’ll go on record and say the Dallas Cowboys will go 11-5 this year and win the NFC East. I’ll go more in details about the Cowboys and this season in the up coming weeks.
Is Michael Vick Guilty? I don’t know. If you look at the protestors outside the courthouse and the Falcons Training camp and you would think he was. Everybody is trying to give Vick the chair and his trial hasn’t even started yet! Personally, I think PETA is focused on making an example out of Vick. I just don’t think that Vick is the Ring Leader. I mean sure he owns the house but because of his commitments to the Falcons, isn’t he in Atlanta 6,7,8 months of the year? I would imagine that it’s kind of hard to run a Dog Fighting League in Virginia from Atlanta and still focus on playing football in the NFL.
Similar to 2Pac’s trial in 1994, I think Vick is more in trouble for being “in concert with some guys.”
Does Vick own the house? Yes
Does he/has he lived there? I’m 99.9% sure he hasn’t.
Does he run the Dog Fighting League at his house? I don’t think he does.
Did he know this was taking place at the house? ………………
I think this is where Vick gets in trouble. While I don’t think he was in charge of the Dog Fighting, I do believe that he knew about it and possibly gambled on it as well. If anything, the guys in the house ran the league. Therefore......I think Vick should only be in trouble for being “in concert with some guys.”
As I learned with the Chris Benoit Double Murder-Suicide a few weeks back, you don’t know what your favorite athlete, actor, model, teacher does once their in private. I’m not even a fan of Michael Vick so I’m surprised that I’m even attempting to defend him. But I believe in innocent before proven guilty. I think we’ve all had a situation where we got blamed for something only for it to come out it wasn’t your fault. This should be the time everyone remembers that moment and remember that Michael Vick’s trial isn’t until November 26th. Don’t Pass Judgment Until The Judge Does.
I can’t wait to hear the feedback on this one. I didn’t mean to have Michael Vick dominate my blog but now I think I know how Roger Goodell and the NFL feels. Next week I promise to take it back to business and let everyone know about the latest with me, CWC Entertainment Group, LLC and Metro Muzik: The Union.
I’ll see y’all next week.

"V-Diddy", 360 D Radio, The Source Magazine™ and more!
What’s going on everybody? Its Vincent Tucker here. As some would call me, “Young V.Diddy Before his prime!” I just want to first say that I’m flattered by the V.Diddy name-calling sent my way over the last 11 months. It was slow as first but it seems to have picked up a lot of stem since early April. Not really sure about the increased pace in being referred to that but I’m not complaining. I take it that people are catching on and really appreciate what I’m trying to do for North Texas thru my company, CWC Entertainment Group, LLC or the burgeoning Hip-Hop Promoter Faction, Metro Muzik: The Union.
It's about 2:30 AM. The past 7 days has been interesting and I'd thought I'd share some light on it. Last Saturday, I was invited to take part in the taping of 360 D Radio, which is an online talk radio show that talks about local and national hip-hop news as well as playing local music as well. I started listening to the show a few months back and for the most part, I became hooked to listening to the show, Monday thru Friday after my lunch break (around 1pm if you care.) So naturally it felt kind of surreal to be asked to participate in a show that I listen to on the regular.
The show is helmed by Jam Renaissance, who is actually a high school teacher in the day time. The show is normally taped on Saturdays and chopped up into different segments to last the week. He says just does it for fun but I think he plans on making it out to be something big and I think he should. The show grows day to day and its need here in Dallas. (By the way if I haven’t mentioned it already, you can listen/subscribe to the show for FREE at www.360DRadio.com. Okay Jam, there goes your free plug, where’s the check? Just Kidding…..I think.) Anyway be sure to check it out as I was featured on the show this past week and this coming week as well. (Yeah, two whole weeks of V.Diddy!)
On Tuesday, we let everyone know that we were promoting a concert for Houston Legend Chalie Boy & Da Ryno at Club Nairobi’s in Dallas on July 28th. These two are part of The Whut It Dew Family that also includes Magno (formerly of Swisha House) and World-Renowed Mixtape DJ Rapid Ric. It will be a live show and if you’re in the area, be sure to check it out. Call the Metro Muzik Hotline 972.897.2086.
Wednesday (7/18) was a gift & a curse. I found out that The Source Magazine™ Unsigned Hype Showcase that I was supposed to co-host yesterday (7/21) was pushed back to August 18th. The showcase was supposed to come to four cities this week including San Antonio (7/19), Austin (7/20), Houston (7/22). The organizer for the Texas Swing of the Tour was inundated with plenty of requests so he moved it back. We’re supposed to now be handling the Dallas part, so if you’re an emerging Rapper or Dime Piece Model, call us for details on how to get down with the showcase and be featured in future editions of the magazine. Still on Wednesday, we found out that we’re being asked to co-promote The Ozone Magazine™ Model Search After Party on July 27th. Set to take place at M5 in Dallas, its going to feature performances from Dallas/Fort Worth’s best artists. You need to be there, plus its Ozone Magazine™! (Visit www.urbansouth.us for more details).
Thursday (7/19), I had an organization ask about helping promote The 1st Annual High School Hip-Hop Showcase™ debuting Fall 2008. Expect to hear some news shortly.
Friday (7/20), We rolled out The 2nd Annual CWC Entertainment Group Back to School Drive benefiting underprivileged youth at the Buckner’s Children home in Dallas. We don’t want your money…..we want you to give school supplies. Notebook paper, Pencils, Pen, Rulers etc. You name it, we need it. The cost of school supplies goes up every year and schools now are asking parents to provide items the school used to provide. Parents already struggling to feed and clothe their children now have to shell out an additional $20 to $40 to get these extra supplies. We’re trying to ease the burden. Visit our website (www.citywideonline.net) for more details. It ends August 6th.
Saturday, I went to a Victory Entertainment Party. Yeah, I went to a competitor’s event! But I’ve known the promoter (Dro) long before I got in the music scene, like back in 2003. But anyway, it was a jamming party. If you never been to a Victory event, you need to go. Good music, good party people, a good time. Keep up the good work bro!
Well as I type this, I’m bracing for the week ahead. Tonight, like just about every Sunday Night, I’ll be co-hosting “The Union”, an organized Open-Mic put together by Mr. Kuwn-Dalini about 3 years ago. The rest of the week……Let’s just say that I’ll be busy! At times, I feel like I’m doing too much but I still have to keep moving. I’ll probably go into more details on the next blog.
This was fun. I don’t know where I was apprehensive about doing this but I think I’m getting hooked! I promised next blog I won’t be so long winded. Before I go, shout out to all of the 2800 MySpace Friends I have. I started my page about 15 months ago. I’m a little of 13,000 views. I can’t complain. Its not like I’m Diddy or somebody but it’s impressive compared to people at my level and lower. By the way – If you’re a rapper and I have more views and hits then you....step your game up. MySpace is for artists. Take advantage and promote it right. A&R’s do pay attention to MySpace. So make sure your page is in tip-top shape. Make it look like you’ve already sold 500,000 cds when you really only sold 500. Image is everything – Remember That!
Alright so I’m out. R.I.P. Tiffany Tenile Tucker (4/16/1985 – 1/1/1993) We love you and we miss you. I'll see y'all next week
